Writing T2W8

Task description: Today I have completed my writing and based of the writing the teacher gave us a photo and we had to write a story with that topic (photo) and here’s my story!

 One day a man named Jeremy woke out of bed. He was tired but got ready for work so he went and brushed his teeth with toothpaste. After brushing his teeth he went for a hot  and warm shower. After having his hot and warm shower he got his suit and walked to work someone said  behind him “good morning! Buddy!” Jeremy turned around and said “good morning to yo- WHAT A MONKEY LIKE YOU CAN TALK!” the monkey replied “of course i can i always talk why buddy?” Jeremy replied “WHAT! In this world we do not know what you’re saying and aren’t you supposed to say  OO OO AH AH?” “oo oo ah ah? what’s that? anyways my name is Larry can you help me find my two tiny sons. They have gone and my 2 other friends are trying to find him but they haven’t seen a sign of him can please find him for me” Jeremy hesitated and said “ok but where are your friends” Larry said “there in the jungle it’s a two hour walk from here” Jeremy said “What! Two hours oh my goodness” so Jeremy and Larry walked for 2 hours straight and finally made it to their destination.

 

Larry went to his friend’s Max who is a Lion and Mandy who is a Chipmunk Jeremy felt like he was about to pass out because Max the lion was huge and Jeremy was scared but Max came up to him and said “Who is he?” Larry said “Oh he’s with me he’s gonna help us find Simon” and Sammy Jeremy said “is that your son’s name?” Larry said “Yes but what are you guys standing there going to find them!” So Max and Mandy and Jeremy searched for the two son’s Jeremy yelled Simon and Sammy’s name for a long time and Mandy too, even max! And they couldn’t find them but there were two tiny monkeys talking about their missing dad and we got a closer look and then we found Simon and Sammy! So they ran to Larry and gave his son’s to him and he was very happy and he said “thank you so much guys and by the way Jeremy here’s a treasure full of gold” so Jeremy said “thank you so much this is gonna change my life!’ so Jeremy walked home with happiness and enjoyment but he just realised he had to walk back home and that will take him 2 hours but he lived happily ever after.

 

Writing W7

Task description: Today i have completed my creative writing. In Rm 6 literacy we had to write any story we like because a few weeks ago we learned about dialogue and in my writing the “dialogue task” helped me out so come check it out!

Once upon time there was a little boy named Garry who was playing rugby with his mate Jerry. Garry and Jerry were the best in the rugby team; they were just the dynamic duo. One time Garry and Jerry were in a game and they got lots of tries matter of fact the score was 103 to 28 and the coach was just mind blown. 

 

The coach asked “how are you both this good?!?!” he replied with a gentle voice “i think we both are just too good” and a few years later they got older and they retired from there team, over time they still play rugby. One time they were playing kicks on the field near their house and Garry kicked the ball to Jerry suddenly the ball hit a broken window. 

 

They were shocked and scared but they went to the door and knocked but no one answered but the door was unlocked so they peaked in and saw no one was there Garry said “jerry let’s go inside and try to find our ball” Jerry replied back with a scare “No! This house is too scary to look at. This house is black very tall, rubbish everywhere AND THE PLACE IT’S SCARY AND MATTER OF FACT ITS ABANDON AND WHAT IF GHOST ARE HERE!?!?!” Garry replied also and said “Don’t be a scaredy cat, it’s not scary, we just get in and get the ball!” Jerry replied back again and said “fine but if we die it’s your fault.” 

 

They both went in and Garry was fine but Jerry looked like he was about to poop his pants, he was shivering hard out! But they went in and tried to find the ball. While

finding the ball they heard bangs on the wall and scratches on the wall Jerry had enough of it so he ran outside and went home garry yelled “WHERE ARE YOU GOING!”

Jerry ignored him and ran home. Garry was all alone and kept finding the ball but it was nowhere to be found but suddenly he saw the ball in a dark hallway so he went and got the ball but then… A GHOST APPEARED Garry said “HOLY MOLY” so he ran to the door but it was locked he almost peed himself so he hid inside a dark and creepy closet the ghost was roaming around trying to find him but he couldn’t. Garry thinks of staying here until someone arrives but if he stays the chances of the ghost finding will be high so he had to find a key for him to escape. So he got out of the closet and try to find the key so he searched around the house and saw something gold “The Key!” yelled Garry so he got the key unlocked the door and ran home to safety. He went home traumatised.

 

Recount Writing (Immersion Assembly)

Task: In this Task we had to do a recount about the immersion assembly. we have to write all about everything that the teachers did and here’s mine!

 

On the first day of school Pt England School had an Immersion assembly at Pes school hall. Teachers did plays and stories to show the children what they will be learning about this term. Every team went up on the stage and performed or they would put a little movie for us to watch. 

 

First Mr Burt and Mrs Nua and Mr Jay and also Mr Somerville they all dressed up and it was funny. They all dressed cool and very silly. After that the teachers did plays by each team! And they were Amazing!

 

For Team 1 they guessed the emotions and it looked like a tv show! But anyways they guessed the emotion by songs and there were 4 contestants and they had to try and win the gold. They all guessed it right but there was a twist: nobody won! But the owner of the game won and she had all the gold for herself.

 

After that team 2 they did a story about kiwi saving the forest it was a cool book back in the days they did a movie and it was about kiwi having his/her rainbow wing and he/her was flying everywhere but suddenly the insects and bugs were destroying the trees so the god of trees called the birds he said “everybody the trees are dying can anyone help!” They asked every bird but they all denied it was just kiwi they asked kiwi and he hesitated but he took a deep breath and agreed to help so the god of trees told him his/her wings would fade away so kiwi wings fade away and he saved the forest! What a good story it was.

 

My Personal favourite was team 3 because they did matilda but first it was the original but it changed to musical. It was the part when they did the chocolate cake part in the movie and the part I really liked was when Mr Toa got a piece of cake and put on Mrs Moala. It was disgusting but funny too! 

 

Next  team 4 did charades about emotions. They were angry, sad and other emotions and it was cool. I kinda liked it and they had lots of emotions. After every play and stories the Immersion assembly finished and we all went back to class and did our learning.

 

Finally team 5 was my second favourite. They did a play about cinderella! It was very cool and Cinderella was Mr Moran! Everybody was laughing and the storyteller was Mr Wise man and the story was great!

 

 

Writing ( Maui and the sun)

Task description: Today in Rm 6 literacy  we wrote about a story about Maui and the sun. In Rm 6 we all got into buddy’s and talk about Maui what happen in the story and lots of stuff. Come check out my writing its very cool!

 

Once upon a time there was a man named Maui and he had 4 brothers. One day Maui decided to go fishing with his brothers. While walking to the sea it was already the afternoon but they didn’t care. By the time they arrived at the sea it was already night time. It was frustrating that the sun had set so fast, so they went back home angry.

 

Maui was mad and yelling at the sun because the sun was too quick and it kept zooming across the sky so he came up with a plan to craft some ropes to capture the sun known as Tana-nui-te-ra so he told his 4 brothers and they agreed. The plan was to make ropes so they went home and craft ropes out of flax and while crafting their ropes they prayed to god to make the ropes strong, strong enough to hold the Tana-nui-te-ra. 

 

After finishing the ropes they travelled into the creepy dark long night so the sun won’t see them approaching him so they travelled and travelled and finally felt a feeling there were almost there, their feet were burning, body was sweating and temperature very HIGH! So they walked and walked and eventually made it.

 It was right there so they made a wall out of clay and the sun rises up Maui told them to wait for his signal so they waited and when Maui saw the sun eyes the signal was out the 4 brothers throwed the ropes some were shocked because the sun didn’t burn so the 4 brothers pulled the ropes and Maui got his grandfather jawbone and stood on top of the wall clay and hit the sun aka Tana-nui-te-ra and the sun slowly got weak and the sun yelled “You will kill Tana-nui-te-ra!” Maui replied yelling “No i will not kill you but i will make you move more slowly” the sun got weak and later on the 4 brothers went home and the sun moved slowly everyday.
